Pain:

I live in the present – that’s all you’ve got. My wife Jackie will tell you, I never just sit round and do nothing. There’s always something to do, and if you can’t do things because you hurt too much, it is frustrating and you think ‘am I going to be just stuck in a chair?’ Because I’m a firm believer in use it or lose it. The constant pain gradually strips you of the life you once had and just grinds you down. Simple daily tasks like getting downstairs, having a bath and emptying the bins all became a painful struggle.

Treatment:

What was wonderful was we walked in at 9 o’clock and we walked out at 12 o’clock. I hadn’t had any unusual drugs stuck into me; it was a totally natural bit of my own body and I have to say I noticed the difference waking up the next day. Within two days the pain had completely gone. This was just wonderful, and I had the procedure done on my left knee. Now I have two knees that don’t hurt. My blood is wonderful! I can go back to doing all the things I wanted to do before, so It has enabled me to have a new lease of life. When you are inside a wave and it just breaks it’s just wow. When one wave catches up to another it’s like driving a sports car and to be able to go back and get in a wave and go and I don’t have to give that up… And waves are free, so in that way it has been life changing to me.
